The Wuhan design industry will actively embrace new transformations in design, forge new-quality productivity within the industry, and empower urban development, integrate technological innovation, lead industrial upgrading, enhance people's livelihood and well-being, promote talent cultivation, facilitate exchanges and cooperation, and convey the voice of Wuhan to the world with this new-quality productivity. Wuhan, a World Design Capital, welcomes another grand design event.

On November 1st, the 2024 Wuhan "Design Day" event kicked off at the century-old Public Amusement Park. Wuhan designers announced the establishment of the "Wuhan Design Creative Alliance" and issued the "Wuhan Initiative" on site.

The opening ceremony was star-studded, with officials from UNESCO and UN-Habitat, academicians of the French Academy of Architecture, national engineering survey and design masters, and other domestic and international experts, scholars, and design masters gathering in Wuhan to collaborate on shaping the future. Over the next three days, Wuhan, as a World Design Capital, will contribute its "Wuhan force" to sketching a better global future, and Wuhan residents will also witness a feast of design centered around "new-quality design and integrated innovation."
