On the afternoon of April 24th, to commemorate the 23rd World Intellectual Property Day, strengthen intellectual property publicity and education, enhance enterprises' awareness of rights protection and prevention, especially to assist small, medium, and micro enterprises in standardizing the management of intellectual property transformation, explore and amplify the value of intellectual property, and facilitate the entire chain of intellectual property creation, application, protection, management, and services, a "Worry-Free IP Rights Protection" benefit policy briefing session was held at D+M Industrial Design Town. This event was guided by the Qiaokou District Market Supervision Administration, sponsored by the Qiaokou District Enterprise Service Center and the People’s Government of Hanshuiqiao Subdistrict Office of Qiaokou District, and co-organized by D+M Industrial Design Town, Yingqian Community of Hanshuiqiao Subdistrict, and CGB Qiaokou Branch.
Yang Xiang, the Deputy General Manager of D+M Industrial Design Town, introduced the relevant situation of the park. D+M Industrial Design Town is a national benchmark project for industrial service parks and the first industrial design industry cluster in Central China. It is committed to creating a leading industrial service ecological area with full-industry chain design innovation as its core. In July 2022, with the approval of the Hubei Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau, the town established the Hubei Intellectual Property Protection Workstation. The aim is to strictly follow the national, provincial intellectual property bureaus, and municipal bureaus' arrangements for strengthening intellectual property protection, combine the distinctive features of D+M Industrial Design Town, become a strong fortress for grassroots intellectual property protection work, and boost the comprehensive, rapid, and high-quality development of intellectual property protection work throughout the city. Attorney Zhang from Dewei Junshang Law Firm explained the importance of intellectual property, legal application, and value assessment of intellectual property from four aspects: the strategic significance of trademarks, the current status of trademarks, enterprise trademark layout, and trademark cases.
