To effectively strengthen the awareness of safety precautions among enterprises in the park, on the afternoon of August 11th, the "Haiyan Through Train" initiative, in collaboration with the Anti-Fraud Center and Hanshuiqiao Police Station, conducted a summer night security patrol and prevention activity at D+M Industrial Design Town within the jurisdiction of Hanshuiqiao. The focus was on popularizing common telecommunication fraud tactics, household registration policies, and fire safety knowledge. Representatives from Gezhouba Group, Wuhan Natural Gas Company, and major banks attended the event to learn.
The local police officer Luo Xinzhi has communicated with D+M Town on various promotional activities multiple times. This activity was jointly proposed by Yang Xin, the deputy chief of the local police station, and Luo Xinzhi, a police officer. They also followed up throughout the entire promotion and lecture activity.
During the event, the police officers from the Anti-Fraud Center first addressed the prevalent telecommunication and internet fraud targeting corporate and banking employees. Through recounting several real-life cases and engaging in onsite interaction, they ensured that the audience fully understood the fraudulent tactics, thereby enhancing their awareness and ability to identify scams. In the process of explaining, they delved into the "impersonating a leader" type of fraud that corporate employees might encounter, dissected the fraudulent methods in depth, and offered multiple police suggestions. These included not casually downloading unfamiliar emails, verifying financial remittances through multiple channels, and regularly cleaning computer viruses and junk software.
