Date :2021-11-01 - 2021-11-02 Venue:Hanyang
Project Introduction

On November 1, 2021, guests from various countries participated in the Fourth Wuhan City of Design Roundtable at the main Hanyang venue of the  Design Biennale, exchanging design ideas through a combination of online and offline interactions. David Grossman, the former President of the International Council of Design, was the theme curator for this roundtable. The theme of this session was "The Development of Creative Industry Infrastructure," with specific topics including the definition of creative industries, the importance of professionalism in creative disciplines, and soft infrastructure for creative industries.

The conference primarily consisted of three sessions: keynote speeches from creative cities, panel discussions, and a roundtable discussion. To ensure effective online participation and in-depth discussions, a total of 15 experts from nine Chinese creative cities, including Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Suzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao, and Wuhan, as well as five international creative cities in neighboring time zones, including Cebu in the Philippines, Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand, and Asahikawa and Shinoyama in Japan, were invited to participate in the one-and-a-half-day conference discussions.
