The Wuhan International Creative Design Contest 2023 is hosted by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and organized by the Wuhan Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the Digital Construction Academic Committee of the China Architectural Society, and the National Digital Construction Technology Innovation Center. With the theme of "Greater Wuhan, Better Design - Creative Construction, Renewal of All Things," this competition focuses on the design and BIM application of the soon-to-be-built new cultural landmark, the Wuhan Design Museum. It invites professional design firms and institutions, designers, students, and creative design enthusiasts worldwide to participate and compete in the design.

The competition launched its call for entries on August 20th and quickly attracted excellent design firms, institutions, and talents from universities both domestically and internationally, including those from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, London, and other places. A total of nearly 300 entries were received. After preliminary evaluations, online voting, and final evaluations, the winning works were selected and exhibited at the 7th Wuhan Design Biennale.
