Project Introduction

From December 8 to 21, 2015, the 3rd Wuhan Design Biennale was held at three venues: Hubei Institute of Fine Arts Tanhualin Campus, China State Construction Optics Valley Star, and Central and Southern China Architectural Design Institute. Themed "Craftsmanship in Learning, Beauty in the City", it deeply explored and exhibited the profound historical heritage and modern design beauty of Wuhan. This biennale consisted of three major sections: design exhibitions, forums, and comprehensive activities. The "design exhibitions" showcased nearly 450 works, including new attempts that reflected technological advancements, technological innovation, innovative ideas, and other achievements in engineering design, as well as works that highlighted the talents and potential of young designers.
